Chimes at Midnight

1966 Shakespearean comedy

Rating: 16/20

Plot: Prince Henry the XVII or whatever the hell he's called tries to balance the life his father wants him to have and the one his chubby friend Falstaff lives.

There might be a lot of things great about this movie--performances, bombast, the way that battle sequence is edited--but the very best thing is watching Orson Welles, who despite playing a bulbous character still had to lose weight for this role, running. There are even a couple of spin moves in there.
