It was Mad Max II overseas or at least in Australia. Mad Max did nothing over here and was almost entirely unheard of. So I guess they decided to market it as a stand-alone movie rather than a sequel. I believe most Mad Max aficionados prefer this sequel, but I think I like the first one best. I do like that this one focuses almost completely on the action. It's cool that there's almost no dialogue in Road Warrior. And that car chase at the end is great! Makes that shit in Matrix II look like...well, shit.
