1996 French comedy

Plot: Maggie Cheung is hired for the lead in a French remake of Les Vampires.
Something went a little over my head with this one. Maybe it's because I'm not French. Or maybe it's just because I don't watch a lot of movies. I'm not totally sure what this was trying to say about the movie industry or specifically French films. But I did find some things to enjoy.
I was a little too overly enthusiastic to watch Maggie Cheung running around in a ridiculous latex costume.
